“ To be quite frank, if I had simply hopped in a car and driven I’d have been there in about 20 minutes, and the whole thing would’ve been nothing more than about an hour’s entertainment that wouldn’t be worth a status update on FB, let alone something to tumbl about. However, since I did this by bike in the deep of winter, it turned into quite a little noteworthy adventure. This is one of the things that has caused cycling to turn from something that I merely did for financial reasons into an integral and beloved part of my life.
