Ghetto Tandem Fun!
This weekend I’m helping to teach someone how to ride a bike. I had to get an appropriately-sized bike home from the Milwaukee Bicycle Collective, which is about 4 miles away. We accomplished this by removing the front wheel and strapping it to the back rack of the bike. Then we took the front fork and strapped that to the back rack of MY bike.
It was a little bizarre and squirrely, at first, but we managed to get it all the way home with no trouble (except for the guy in the car who called us stooges).
